Zion Union Church of Maxatawny participated in Kutztown University's Designathon as a client who received design work for free from volunteer students. Zion Union Church previously came to Kutztown to design banners for their church parking lot, and they loved them to much that they returned for some holiday variations. We created an Easter banner for the spring and a Christmas banner for the winter that are still used today.

For some context, Designathon is a event that was hosted by Kutztown's Communication Design program where both current students and alumni would team up and spend 24 hours completing work for a local client in need of affordable design services for a stand-alone project. The products were created as a team with many other Communication Design majors and alumni, along with input from the clients.

The Bethlehem-Tulpehocken Public Library also participated in Kutztown University's Designathon. They needed a new logo and an updated brochure to help inform the community of their upcoming renovations to their building and share how they can help support them, whether that be financially or socially.

After realizing most of their clients have moved remote following the pandemic, KDG was throwing around the idea of using animated GIFs as a celebratory message to clients rather than sending tangible mail. This animation of a celebration gift is one of the ideas that was considered in the endeavor.

A successful project with a reliable client deserves some stellar documentation. Computer Aid, Inc. had such a great experience with this client that they were eager to share their story of "Growing Happy Customers" with prospective clients and partners at conferences.

Amanda and Robert needed a simple yet elegant Save The Date for their wedding that encompassed their chosen theme with a warm and classic feel.
